I ordered a 2005 Mustang GT on Feb. 25. 2005. Was informed by dealer last week of May that Ford could'nt build a 2005 model. Did I want to stay on the list or take back my deposit? To make a very long story short my dealer called on Oct. 12 to tell me that my 2006 Stang would have a Born On Date of Oct. 24 2005, with delivery mid Nov. This is the longest I have ever waited for a car, but it's my Dream Car and I hope it was worth the wait!

welcome to the forums, i had to wait a couple months it wasnt that bad

 

i had the choice of getting put on the dreaded 05 waiting list, or walk out with a brand new 04 for mad cheap. i'm not that diehard to be put on a long **** waiting list for a car. i like the 04 look-wise more anyway. hopefully yours gets there when they say. i'm sure you won't be disappointed though. IT'S A MUSTANG!
