Default New guy sayin Hi !! & DSS project info

So I come to your forum quite often to read what being built and how you guys are putting them together I recently picked up a 2000 GT it has a new DSS super 5.0 with pi trick flow heads "car made 430hp to the back tires as is" has a TKO 600 trans.has BBK full headers xpipe flowMaster two chamber mufflers .no cats cars registered in a small town we don't have to do emission testing so exhaust is simple!! headers couple feet of 3 inch pipe & mufflers!! The front subframe is all aftermarket all tubular a arms k member not real familiar with mustang front ends or the right terms but it's all pretty nice stuff looks expensive and has really nice coral overs. Through the canyons it handles extremely well I haven't drove any others but pretty impressed with this one! I'm currently installing the P-1 SC Pro charger with aero motive high flow Fuel rails 60 pound injectors , 90 mm mass air, Arrow motive 300 LPH fuel pump, anderson power pipe, three core intercooler, and a few other goodies hoping to run around 15 pounds I'm running a 2.90 pulley. Hopefully the car is going to Carl over at Dyno jet by Las Vegas Speedway next week I have no idea what kind of hp #s it will or should make! ? I am 100% new to these motors and a pro charger or supercharger set ups any input or advice would be appreciated thank you

Welcome

If that motor was built to be NA, I'd limit your boost levels. See if you can get more info on compression ratio, High compression and high boost don't work well together, well they work great for a very short time lol.

The motor is a DSS Super Mod. Built for boost. The cams are in the middle Anderson 42s the compression is 8.5 to 1 a b d the bottom end is their level 10. So as it is the 42s pretty much determine how much boost I can use.. Talking to DSS my motor is good for 20+ lbs of boost and 1200+hp. With the 42s I'm hoping to get 13 to 15 lbs of boost and see what the hp is.. : ) . Thanks for ur input and welcoming me to your site!! Ill get some pics up soon. I have some other cool Ford toys to post up also.. BBF 577ci SCJ Twin Turbo setup. . Made 2300+ hp on pump gas at Shelby's old Dyno at Las Vegas Motor Speedway.
