Looking for a Hi-po engine
Greetings Everyone, I was fortunate ( or unfortunate ) enough to find a 65 k mustang that parted ways with its engine somewhere along the way. Does anyone have a rebuildable (or semi complete) 289 6 bolt hipo engine from late Nov, Dec 1964 or VERY, VERY early 1965 they want to sell? I hate to ask.. but help me save another K! Also, Anyone looking for a cast iron t-10 for a SBLK ford? One came with the project so i will sell it and go back to the top loader. Let me know!

Might want to post this in the classic section or the classifieds. Sounds like a great project, if you get a chance post some pics in the classic section we like pictures there. Oh and welcome to MustangForums, it is a great site.

I'm not up on the older stuff anymore, but in the Milwaukee Craigslist there was an ad for an original 289 from a 63 Galaxie. Asking $200 with tranny. I don't know if those were Hi-Po though.
