Default Newbie question

Was thinking of adding a little bling to the sides of my Race Red V6 Vert. Specifically, the tri-bar Pony emblem.

I noticed the OEM badging has pins for holes where they go.

However, since mine doesn't have the holes, I was considering the peel and stick variety.

Does the peel and stick stay on? Do you need extra adhesive and if so, what kind.

Tx in advance.
