I think I previously joined this group, but since getting my newer Mustang, I wanted to be sure I visit this forum so I can get as much information as possible.
In 2000, I purchased a beautiful 1999 V6 red convertible. It had about 14,000 miles and I recently traded it for a 2014 V6 Premium convertible with about 22,000 miles. I had a really hard time letting go of my 99 because it had only 75,000 miles and was in really good overall condition. The things that were wrong with it were minor but would have cost me quite a bit to repair.
So, now you know the reason I let it go.
The 2014 has all the options that I need (and more) and it is in great condition. The dealer did not have the owners manual, but I got one from ebay and am now trying to learn about all the options.
My next task will be to program the garage door opener. Today, I discovered it has heated seats for driver and passenger. It also came with Sirusxm and I'm really enjoying that.
I'm sure I will be back with questions. What do you think of a 70 year old female who loves her Mustangs? My first car was a 1966 Thunderbird, followed by a 1967 Mustang. Over the years I have had numerous convertibles, but I much prefer the Mustang.
