I have always been a corvette fan from a very young age. I still remember when my granddad let me drive the corvette it was amazing. However, there was this one car that was in the back of my mind....the Ford Mustang. My mother has owned a new edge and a s197 and that image of the pony car was imprinted in my mind. Now it's time for me to get one and I can't decide. I want the 2015 but if I get the 2015 it would be a v6 but I'm also interested in the 2011 gt/cs and 2012-14 gt. can yall give me a second opinion or some pros or cons of owning each? I love the sound of the 5.0 but the styling on the s550 looks amazing.

..well, if you get the S550 (that's the 2015 bodystyle), what about the ecoboost? Ford only has the base model for the six cylinder.

Just wait for the Shelby 😍 no but seriously I went to order my 15 when they had one down here to look at back in April and I'm sorry but I just couldn't do it so I just got a 14GT instead and I couldn't be happier with it. I had a 12 also but I love my 14. To each their own. Now go buy a mustang!

I would lean heavily towards a coyote S197 in that case.

I got the '15 V6 and I am in heaven! I drove the ecoboost and it had a lot of kick but something about a 4 banger under the hood of my pony was not appealing. I get into enough trouble with speed without having the V8. Go with what you feel in your bones or you will not be happy. I love the body style of the 15 and...hey...my baby won me 1st place at Magic Dragon in the 1974-Present stock class.

I'm a big fan of the 5.0 since Ford brought it back. I love it in my 2011 GT and I'm looking forward to it in the 2015 I've got on order. I'd suggest getting the 5.0. I know I'm bias, but have you ever heard anyone say "Boy I wish I would have gotten the smaller engine."?
