Default Engine Screeching

I am try to resolve a noise issue under the hood of a 2007 Mustang. It sounds like a belt screeching or a bearing on a pulley going bad. I removed the belt and inspected it for signs of wear and tear and it looks almost like new(14 mos old).I then replaced the idler pulley, but still have screeching and whining. I then replaced the Belt tensioner, but got same result. I removed the belt and checked all the pulleys on the AC, Alternator, Water pump, and PS pump. all seem proper except for the power steering pump. There is a light tick when turning the pulley but there seems to be quite of bit of end play in the shaft. Is that end play normal on a power steering pump and is that what could be causing the noise? My mustang has 146,500 miles. Any ideas and help will be greatly appreciated.

Welcome to the forums, have a good time.
Now go find the 2005-2014 section and repost there, you may never get an answer here.
