Default 2012 V6 Premium Mustang

Instrument panel lit up like a Christmas tree and car went into limp mode. Very Dangerous and this was the second incident. I researched and found out Mustangs and Fusions had Electronic Throttle Body problems which could cause this problem. The Fusion was covered under warranty and Mustang was not. BS.

Instead of taking the car to Ford, I bought and installed a new BBK Throttle Body, believing this might solve the problem. NOT! Yesterday car went into limp mode again.

Appreciate member input who have also experienced this.

Best Regards, Charles

Welcome to the forum.

I'd start a thread in the appropriate Tech section, that's where you'll get the most help. This is where new members introduce themselves if they want to. Good luck in the fix.

I have never heard of this problem with our 3.7s. Instead of replacing parts, you might want to take it to Autozone and have them read to ODB for any error codes (I don't think they charge). If they can't find anything the dealer can.

Welcome. I've never heard or have had an issue with my 3.7. You'll want to get those codes read. Most auto parts stores will do it for free. I bet you bought a car from a home grown tuner. Good luck.
