Default SCT chip

Hey guys so I recently bought a 94 gt and the guy said that it had a SCT chip on it didn't know what kind when I switch stages it dosent seem to make any difference at all I took my ECU apart and cleaned connections recommended on other sights and it still dosent seen to make any difference but when I pulled everything apart on the top it read superchip but it looks identical to the SCT programmed by BAMA any thoughts?

Welcome to the forum, but these types of questions belong in the appropriate Tech section. Good luck

I have a 1995 Mustang GT convertible that I traded for, an I was just wondering what
"superchip" meant? It is on the trunk lid of the car. I think someone added it, I don't know. The car does sound supped up and it has the cobra rims on it. The car is really fast for what looks to be a 302. I'm just wondering, trying to find out what I can. I know some stuff but not everything. Any help would be appreciated. Thank you for your time.
