Default Strange electrical problem

My '98 mustang convertible has a very strange electrical problem that I cannot seem to solve. I have tested all of the fuses several times and pulled on a few wires, but no luck. Any help would be appreciated....

All at once, the following stopped working...
- Interior / dome lights
- All electric locks (all switches)
- Glove compartment light
- Keyless entry locks, trunk, and keyless entry

The trunk pop (in the glovebox), radio, dash lights, wipers, rear defrost, windows, headlights, fans still work with no problem. The strangest part of the problem is that when I press the unlock button on either door, the dash lights and the headlights come on A few days ago, it all started working again for about 5 minutes and then stopped again.

I have considered that it might be a bad connection somewhere, but where do I even begin? Thank you!!!

Geeezzz, I'd nickname that car "Christine" and sell it before someone is killed.

On a serious note, I'd start by checking/cleaning every ground you can find.
