Default New member, couple stangs in the stable

Been a lurker on the forums here for awhile, but figured it was time to sign up and get involved. I live in Penticton, bc, Canada. i am a Ford technician for the last 4 years at the local ford dealer here, and am an avid mustang lover. Have owned quite a few over the years, but only currently own 2 right now.

First one is a 1985 Mustang Lx coupe 4cyl auto that i literally bought from an older lady that lived in my apartment building. has 64,000 original kms when i got it. still had the original tires on it, still had the plastic on the floor mats and back seat. Bought this car for 550$ , did a little bit of work on it, and gave it to my gf for her first car.

Second one is a 1997 mustang gt convertible that was in a minor front end accident a friend of mine at work gave me about 2 weeks ago. sourced out a v6 parts car, for the parts, and the car is heading over to the body shop at work tommorow to get the minor pull done on the front so i can hang some sheet metal on it .

My daily is a 2000 f150 4x4 . 4.6 with some minor mods.
Cant wait to get started on the project .
and now some pics!

the 85 was a deal of a lifetime. probably own that one forever. as for the 97, just had a quote done up to pull up the rad support only 240$ , so its happening next week. now to just strip down the 96 v6 that i bought for the body parts.

Had the frame pull done today, got all the sheet metal hung. got it registered and insured. and driving it ! . pretty sweet car. gotta work a few bugs out of it, and swap some more parts from the parts car over. but pretty happy so far. Did a pretty good job lining up the door and fender for a first time body man lol.
