Default Having annoying problems please help.

Ok so I have a 2004 Mustang convertible and the top has tears in it now and I'm thinking should patch them up or buy a new soft top or a hard top. I feel like I should get a hard top but where can I even get one? All I found was smoothline and they sell hard tops but for 2 grand. I want the best deal but I want to get something nice. Anybody have any suggestions and estimations of pricing?

Welcome to the forum.

Alittle farther down the Home Page, there's a Tech section, one specific to your year Mustang. I'd start a new thread in there just because of the # of members in that section. Hopefully someone can give you some advice.

Good luck

I would ask how long do you plan to own the car? Do you drive it any in colder months?

a hard top will be a custom part, and will be expensive. you can try to have somebody patch the soft top, but it will prolly look bad and will continue to develop tears due to the age/wear. a new soft top is the best route IMHO http://www.americanmuscle.com/conver...blue&GID=95034
