White interior
Hi..Not new but , have a short memory...I think I posted part of this problem but, I have a new twist (S).& also, am I on the correct part of the forum ?
Dilemna:
The metal parts of my interior were painted white and when the upholstery & side door panels were installed they didn't match.....Too late I guess..
I have to replace the steering wheel which is cracked but, the whites are a terrible contrast.also. I think maybe the solution is to install a black steering wheel , since the dash pad is black as well as the carpet..Need opinions.
2nd..Thought of installing a smaller WOODEN wheel and would also appreciate opinions and recommendations .. The paint mismatch wasn't the the restorers fault !
3rd. The restorer suggested an alternative.. He said they could paint the
tops of the doors the same color (Vintage Burgundy) as the exterior of the car....Maybe rear qtr. panels also????
Thanks Phil
P.S. I'm in Oklahoma City..anyone from here ????

Welcome to the forum Phil, glad to have you.
Sorry I can't help with the interior decision's, but maybe if you start a new thread in the Classics Tech section, someone there may have gone through this also. Good luck
