I'm looking at a 2009 GT with a cracked factory glass roof. Anyone have experience replacing the glass for less than dealer price of $2800, plus install at a glass shop? Seems a bit high, considering the option was only 2K new.

 

That sounds pretty average

 

The biggest problem is getting the glass - it wasn't a big option and the part isn't plentiful.

Ouch !!! on the cost, that might be a deal breaker.

 

Check the cost for having someone weld a piece of metal in there.
