64.5 100096 car father daughter project

good morning everyone had a 66 for my daughter but due to frame damage we picked up a sweet 64.5 with the last vin being 100096.to exchange the parts on.

full vin.

its a v8 car full vin is 5ro7d100096 it was built in san jose plant

Well according to Mustang Monthly, there were between 150 and 180 preproduction Mustangs built. There were also about 130 Convertibles used at the 1964 Worlds Fair. Your car has a fairly early VIN. Might merit some further investigation.
