I'm baaaaaack
Problem is I can't remember my old user id or even the email address so I'm starting fresh. My previous Mustang was a 2006 Mustang GT with Vortech supercharger, it ran consistent 12.1@115 which for back in 2007 was pretty damn good.
After some family medical issues I just drove my brand new 2018 Premium GT A10 home after an 80 mile cruise through some old stomping grounds including Strats on North Ave (RT64) in Villa Park. The place was packed solid, completely shocked me. My plans are to install a 2.9 Whipple, upgrade the half shafts and get good tires on the car.
During the test drive with the salesman in drag mode I punched it at 20 mph and the car smoked the tires and started going sideways so the obvious thing to do was ride it out, he was not happy. During the cruise after paying for the car I was next to a 2013 GT500, a bunch of Suburu's and a Dodge Dart that wanted to race in the worst way, I didn't bother. Breaking the engine in and having some fun, can't wait to go to the track!

no you did not, unless it was all hwy at 55 mph , unless that’s a fake 5.0 badge.
the 10 speed is supposed to be super economical and it is not the moment you get into it. If driving any in town short distance and you’ll be lucky to get 12.
im sure the manual helps , but since it’s only 6 gears no way it out performs the 10 speed st 1500-1800 rpms at 60 mph
if this is a daily driver the only way a it goes a week on a tank of gas is you did zero joy riding or you drive slow slow slow in your joy rides and never got into it
my wife’s uses 1 gallon in traffic commute to work and a little less on way home, 10-12 miles. Last week she ended week with well over 1/4 tsnk, the gauge is super accurate as you have to put 12 in when exactly at 1/4 tank. So she used a little over 10 gallons to do 5 round trip commutes plus a few errands

I tell you what, I'll continue to correctly calculate my mpg when I fill up as I have done since 1978 and you do you making assumptions because... your wifes car.
