Default Getting into Modding

Good morning all!

I've had my V6 Mustang for about a year now, and it being the first car I've really loved, would like to begin making modifications to the vehicle just to show it some love and get performance gains across all areas. I am hoping to get a bit of help on where to start, and I would also like a bit of help with one of the things I'm finding very important. So here is a short list:

1. Engine Performance(Parts Recommended)
2. Handling Performance(Parts Recommened)
3. Sound-This is my biggest issue I want to cover. Everyone tells me "You gotta make it sound like a V8 to be cool man." I want to preserve and enrich the V6 sound as much as possible. I bought a V6, and I'm not actually ashamed of that.

To put it short and sweet, I love this car and just want to make it even more fun to drive. Thanks all!

I realize I may have posted this in the wrong place. If so, I apologize to the administrators and welcome advice on where this should go!

It would help to know what model year your Mustang is - makes a difference as to where this should go as well as what suggestions to make.

For the 4.0 the best "bang for the buck" performance upgrade is a CAI and tune. After that you need forced induction (nitrous - only good for track use) or a supercharger.
