There are so many companies and brands of waxes and detailing products. Any suggestions on best alternatives to baby my new pony. Also looking for a good tire detailing product.

interior i prefer the foaming upholstery cleaner and then just vacuum it away, no scrubbing required. then the glass gets done with aerosol glass cleaner "invisible glass" and soap just reglar car soap with no wax or fancy crap. then i use turtle wax. regular tub-o-wax turtle wax.

Tech-shine. I use it. Wash car, while car is wet then rub on tech shine, and rinse off, you'll see the water bead up. goes on glass, paint, plastic... all good. A little expensive, but a little goes a LONG way.
Then dry car off... total time... like 10 minutes.

Ammo NYC is the best stuff that I know of, but you'll pay a pretty penny for it. Larry is a detailer that does concourse type stuff. He has loads of videos on all auto detailing subjects. Even if you don't go with his stuff at least watch the videos, he's very skilled and knowledgeable.
I've used Meguire's for a number of years, and have always had success with it. I apply the knowledge from Larry's videos with Meguire's and I always get compliments on the condition of my cars. Really any name brand should be pretty good though, it's all about keeping a layer of protection on your car at all times, and always have some sort of lubricant every time you wipe your paint.

I use chemical guys. My car is Black. I get towels from them too. You have to wash towels after you use them and they become "B towels". I always use "A" towels which are new towels when I shine or wax. I use Blacklight after I wash it. Then once a month I use their Butterwax. I used to use the spray sealant in between washes for bird poop but now I just pay attention to where I park. My car shines like no other that I have seen. I had it next to a new one at the dealership and my car looked blacker. Using the black light stuff really adds this sort of depth to the color. The wax just locks it in. If you watch their little video on YouTube, and use it like the guy says, you will never have swirl scratches. It does take a while to properly use. My car wash is like three hours of labor. I buy it off ebay. They make stuff for certain colors. I use Black towels cause my car is Black too.
