ODB code issueS PO193, PO172, PO175, P1233
Hey everyone hopin to get some feedback from some more experienced mustang owners, while driving back to work from dropping off my deposit noticed check engine light came... Okay need to get it checked out, ran by O'reillys since it's right down the street from my work, they gave me codes PO193, PO172, PO175, and P1233. I have looked them up and I know everyone seems to twitch seeing PO193. But all these codes ae at the same time so I don't even really know where I should start. It's a base V6 Mustang 4.0. I have a air raid cold air and a Bama 86 street tune. Any help is greatly appreciated.

The most difficult thing regarding these issues is you kind of need to know the condition for the codes being set. Those are all related. I'd see the dealer. They will be the best bet to find the similarity to the four codes. Could be as simple as an exhaust leak, could be an 02 sensor. Tough call. Ditch the tuner for now and run a stock program.

P0193 FORD - Fuel Rail Pressure Sensor Circuit High Input
P0172 FORD - System Too Rich Bank 1
P0175 FORD - System Too Rich Bank 2
P1233 FORD - Fuel Pump Driver Module Disabled Or Off Line
If all this happened after the tune, then it's not right for your configuration.
Twitch at 0193? What about 1233? The driver module would cause all
those codes if it's the cause, and the fuel pump is running above duty cycle,
or engine demands. If it's running 100% as default because the module is
the issue, then fuel pressure is too high, thus high at the rail, and will also
run rich. The pump is working, it's not being controlled my the module for
correct pressure.
