Default Ticking sound

I kind of doubt anyone can help but I'll give it a try. When I close the door on my 89 GT there is a ticking sound (both doors). I have only noticed it in the garage when it is very quiet. It slows down and finally stops. I have an idea but want to ask here first.

I wonder if PERHAPS it's the weights in the seat belt anchors...they sway back & forth and during a wreck they lock the seatbelts in place.
What if you close it gently??

Just a thought.

I just put in new seat belts and that is when it started. Thought this might be it. Thanks
