HELLO! New to Forum.
Hello everyone! I’m new to this forum.
I just got an 04 Mustang GT with a little less than 95k for $1,500. It’s a 5 speed manual. I think I got a good deal on it. I am the 2nd owner. The 1st owner is a friend of mine and his wife made him sell it since it was the car he had before he got married. Lol
It had an oil leak which ended up being a loose oil filter. Easy fix! :-) started doing maintenance on it and when I got to remove the spark plugs I noticed that the coil pack on the 7th cylinder was wet when coolant. Check it out more and it had a cracked intake manifold. Changed it out, haven’t had any issues.
Put it in new spark plugs, MSD coil pack, BBK cold air intake and a short throw shifter. Changed motor oil, trans fluid and new fuel filter. Car runs great!
I may need to change out the water pump sooner than later. I hear a “rattling” sound so I think it’s the water pump. I changed the idler puller and tensioner pulley so I know it’s not either one of those.
I’ve driven the car a bit and it feels really good. Full exhaust is next on the list.
