Howdy, I'm new here. Hoping to be a proud owner of a 65 hardtop soon.

Need to trailer it about 600 miles in cold, maybe snow. All I can find for trailer rental nearby is a uhaul auto transport. It's not covered, worries me. Any advice?

Thanks!

Why does covered matter? We trailered our '04 Explorer at 4300 lbs. from MO to AZ on a U-haul trailer, behind one of their trucks, 24' van, in violation of their weight restriction. No problems, made it OK, but weather was not a consideration.

Mainly the weather. As it turned out, last weekend was great!

Thanks for the reply.
