I'm trying to help a friend with a 95 3.8. His only key has disappeared, and he was given two keys by a locksmith. When we try to start the car with one key, the dash lights come on but as soon as it rotates toward start, everything goes dead. Is this a chip key? We don't have the other key right now but will try that later on. Is the 95 a chip key type? Thanks in advance.
