It's not in the owner's manual?

I'm not trying to be snotty about it, I just thought you could read it in the manual just as easy as on line. I can't believe it's not in the manual.

That's probably something you need to find in a menu in the gauge cluster. It used to be just pressing a button sticking out of the gauge cluster but now it's a bit more involved. It might be referenced as "Trip 1" and "Trip 2" in the gauge menu now. On new explorers, you cycle through the menu with directional buttons on the steering wheel, so the mustangs may be similar.

On my 2017 I hold the "OK" button on the left side of the steering wheel until it resets. You have to hold it down, not just hit it once.

And yes, it is in the manual.
