I owned an '89, 90, and '93 Cobra for years, then picked up a '94 GT.

I knew beforehand that the engine "dress" was somewhat different, which I attributed to the swooping downward hood line. Under the hood, new things awaited, some disappointing. I'll just list them:
Electric fan
CCRM stuck between radiator and front accessories belt.
HUGE coolant recovery bottle, twice as large as needed.
ABS Module stuck in same place as CCRM, on a big steel bracket.
A/C line traversing across top of area between radiator in engine, hanging in mid air.

The fan operation bugged me, evident due to the time of year: Summer in the Mohave Desert. Didn't overheat, but swung wide temp. variation from fan on and fan off, disconcerting. And, skinny one-core radiator.

That's when the renovation began. I'll detail, if asked.

I've never had any issues with mine overheating, and that's with a new but stock rad and the original fan. And I've had a 302 with a kenne bell and now a 347 with a procharger, but we don't get the extreme heat here so I guess that helps.
