Ecm problems
I have a question I was wanting to ask I have 06 mustang we rebuilt the engine in bought the car with a bad motor it had dropped valve it’s 4.6 3 valve with aftermarket cams and stuff we hav a runner that came with car when we tried to crank it at first could not get pulse to any injectors we have power to all them then we used the tuner box to clear all codes and restore factory tune and it will now start but only can get the passengers side cylinders to hit we can’t get the injectors on the drivers side to spray at all we hav compression on them just can’t get pulse from the ecm for some reason would you have any ideas we have replaced the throttle body fuel pump and many other elect components any advice would be greatly appreciated every once in while a couple injectors will hit on drivers side now anyone with any ideas
I believe if the injectors aren't getting a signal from the PCM, it's because the PCM is not getting the signal from the corresponding Cam Sensor. What I don't know/recall is if one missing signal will only cut the injectors on one side, or both.
I don’t really understand how the ecm could have went bad setting up for about a year there are no signs of a rat or anything getting into the wiring and I have cleaned and checked all grounds at least twice and don’t know why when we put the aftermarket tune on it none of the injectors will pulse at all scared to spend 4 or 500 bucks on new ecm and not be the problem and not be able to use the tuner on the new ecm either from what I understand starting to really miss carburetors lol

soooo, take it to a shop and have them diagnose it for you then fix it yourself? I do that whenever I’m stumped and beyond my realm of expertise/knowlege. Electrical is my Achilles heel.
