Default Road noise

I just recently bought a 2010 Premium Convertable, and am wondering if they all have road noise with top up.. More so than a Coupe.

My 2006, 2013, and 2017 all had more road noise than my 2019 coupe.

My 1965 had lots more road noise!

Tires can play a significant part in the road noise. Old tires, tires with weird tread wear cause by damage or bad alignment contribute to the noise. Also, not all tires are quiet because their tread design or the purpose of the tire don't promote quiet tires. Snow tires used offseason are very noisy. Summer tires/Performance tires are usually pretty noisy.
