New Guy from Detroit
Hello, I'm from Detroit got my first mustang about 4 months ago with 57K on it, its a 1996 GT, and it is bone stock but sounds great. Other than hearing a kind of loud creaking sound when I have to do manuvering like parking thats the only problem I have. Also, mine came with BOSS Shinoda decals. It need painting but I want to beef it up first. The only cars I have bought was one 95 Taurus, and 2 Taurus SHOs from the years 93 and 95. So actually the 290lbs of torque is nice but for a coupe 215hp is not that great compared to coming from a very quick accelerating sedan like a SHO. BUT! I understand the difference of beefing up and repairing a mustang in comparison to a SHO. [sm=exactly.gif]
Anybody ever had this creaky steering problem? [&:]

hey whats up.? saint clair shores here.....
i would say ball joints on the creaking sound....my '93 does it too, when it's cold out.
you might want to try and lube up the ball joints, and see if it goes away, or at least gets better. to narrow things down.
get a set of gears and you'll forget you have 215hp, it will feel like 300.
anyway, welcome
