Hi,
I'm new, but I think I was on last year but cant remember.... sorry about that. But I have a new issue with the push rods a newly built 67 351W with Edlebrock heads, 5 of them bent and it seems they are rubbing against the rod guides creating these weak points as seen in the photo. I will order new hardened push rods, but what's up with the friction from the guides and how do I rectify that ?

This one was the straightest, but 4 others were severely bent, most of them have the wear section at the top were the guides are located
