I’m new to the mustang family, formerly owned several automatic transmission corvettes and wanted to drive a manual sport car for perhaps maybe my last car. The mustang is lacking certain features I was use to but it fast looks good and that’s great for starters. Would like to communicate with other Mustangers and see how they improve their mustangs

 

Welcome the forum. Aside from Jeeps, the Mustang is probably the most modified car on the planet. If you are getting a new one, get the performance package and standard transmission. The Getrag transmission isn't as bad as everyone makes it out to be compared to the Tremec in the Dark Horse. I have a C8 and I'm looking forward to driving my new GT if and when my dealer ever gets an allocation for me. I miss the raw muscle car feel, look, and sound not to mention the standard transmission.
