Was “door dashing” the other night and while en-route to a pick-up, my 02 Mustang GT (manual transmission) stalled. I tried starting her back up but she just cranked, no start. I replaced all plugs and coil packs, still no start. I verified the fuel pump was working and there was fuel in the tank. Someone suggested a faulty PATS system, but that would not cause the car to stall. I’m at a loss and without the car, I have no income. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated
Check the crankshaft position sensor. It’s a common issue on those years. If it’s failing, the car will crank but not start. Also, scan for codes with an OBD2 scanner to rule out other electrical issues. If you need a scanner, OBDBuy.com has decent ones.
