Joined a few days ago, did my first posting today on a problem that has bugged me for over 30 years, I hope I get an answer. I have a '67 289 2bbl convertible.Ive owned it ever since I moved to Canada from the UK in 1973. I'm the second owner. I had never driven a car with a v8 or automatic tran or power steering before! Motor & tranny rebuilt a few years ago and it has never gone better. The body was done at the same time but I only had some new paint squirted on the new panels rather than a fancy paint job. I had a proper paint job years ago and I was too paranoid to park it anywhere. The roof is down year round a I no longer have to drive to work every day. Our climate here is similar to San Francisco, kind of, but our summers are propably a bit warmer. Im glad to be here.
