Really?
Darn.
hehe
Well you're cheating too!
Letting the CAR do all the work
You just gotta launch, and I can do that fine.

Lets see you get 2.0's on street tires with a lowered car

Now OB you know that I'm just a shiftless automatic type of guy! LOL
I do shift it manually at about 5,500 rpm and I have to do it right on time to be consistent with my ET's. Quit making excuses and get those Drag Radials mounted and then see what you can do without the bottle on and then we'll see who runs the best ETs. I'm also sure you get to run in much better air conditions than I do down here in Virginia during our hot and humid summers, but I won't hold that against you! I expect to here back from you after this Wednesday night races where the dungeon man will be cleaning your clock! LOL
with reaction times like you are getting, you will be dead meat for him this week! LOL

Gotta fool around with the quad shocks first for me to get them drag radials on

And what do you have done for suspension mods?
I'm thinkin about Upper n Lower control arms, but what else should I get?

I don't wanna lose the look of the lowered car either, and dont wanna lose handling
If thats possible

And im not sure the conditions are all that better, Humidity is HORRIBLE here too.

When I installed the Strange Engineering 9" Ford rear end, I removed the wheelwell mounted horizontal shocks and installed a set of HPM Megabyte Jr. lower control arms and a set of HPM adjustable upper control arms with aluminum spherical roller bearing bushings mounted on the rear end side of the upper bars. I also installed a set of Eibach rear drag springs with an airbag in the right side one. I kept the stock rear shocks as is. Up front I installed the Eibach front drag springs with a set of Competition Engineering 90/10 drag struts.
I would not recommend the 90/10 struts for use on a street driven car as they are strictly for drag racing use on the track.
This combination of parts lets my Stang launch with the front end pulling up and the rear end squatting for the maximum traction it can get without the front tires leaving the ground as I don't have enough HP and torque to pull them up that high just yet.
I think you should look into getting some aftermarket upper and lower control arms as they will be much stiffer than the stock ones and help reduce the flexibility of the stock ones when launching your car at the track. I would also recommend you get some good brakes installed ASAP based on what I've read in some other threads about your brakes! LOL Being able to stop safely is just as important as being able to go fast!!!
