Default Finally got my car!

After months of searching.. and continuous arguing with insurance companies.. I found a car! I bought a 2000 Ford Mustang V6 5-Speed, 146k miles, Atlantic Blue Metallic, Tinted Windows, Hurst Shifter, Flowmaster True Dual Exhaust, CAI, Performance tune, 2 Subs and a 1000W amp.

I got a super great deal on this car and plan on doing a TON to it! So as of now I guess this is the beginning of my build thread!

Goals: (mechanical): (Since I plan on keeping this car, and buying my cousins Cobra in a couple years I want to make this in to a nice little street car/ daily driver)

Change Exhaust (SLP Loudmouth, MAC Long Tubes, Mac O/R Hpipe)
Bigger Throttle Body
New Heads
New intake manifold
Camshaft
Underdrive pulleys
and if I can somehow find the kit... a M112 Eaton supercharger adapter kit

Goals: (Appearance Wise)
Lowering Springs
Tinted lights
Mach 1 Front end kit
Blacked out decklid panels
Matte Black 18" bullit wheels
Black GT spoiler

I hope you guys enjoy watching this car "Grow up" and I hope my dad and his 06 GT and I can come to some meets with you guys!

Congrats on your Mustang! I like how you have a long build list planned ahead of you already. It should be a whole different car when you're finished with it.

What's your first mod from the build list going to be?

Definitely the bullit wheels! Right now it has some cheap $40 hubcaps from Advanced Auto because when I bought the car it just had the factory like black wheels lol.

Unfortunately I think i'm going to be selling this car. I can't seem to pick up driving a 5-speed easily and my dad is an awful teacher so I don't think i'm going anywhere. Hopefully I can pick up an auto.

The best way to get better is to keep trying. Look up some articles or videos about how to drive a manual too.

What are you having difficulty with?

Hills, parking, turning, quicker takeoffs (knowing where clutch point is). I can shift/downshift pretty well its just knowing when and what gear to do it all

It all takes practice my man. Everyone started out in your seat when first learning manual, you just have to stick with it. Give it some more time and you'll start seeing improvements. I definitely think reading up on the proper way to drive a manual transmission will help, like mentioned above.

Bullitt wheels look awesome one these New Edge Mustangs. Which finish were you thinking about?
