Royal Purple, got it in the motor, and in the diff. Stuff is great. I swear after swapping diff fluid the car runs so much smoother. Next up will be the transmission.

Some companies get their base stocks from a few different sources, I know AMSOIL does.

Because the German Castrol that everyone was raving about has been reformulated. In 2002-2005 it was group IV PAO base stocks, and one hell of a robust formulation. Now it's a group III hydrocracked petroleum base stock, and not what it once was. I missed the days of "Green" Castrol 0W-30, as it was MY oil of choice. When it changed to "Gold" in 2006, I walked away from it.
