Default Synthetic or Conventional

Just bought an 02 Mustang GT... I am gonna do an oil change. Should I do synthetic or just conventional like Castrol GTX?

^ Unless you're in a lot of stop and go traffic or drive it hard frequently, and if it were me, I may try Motorcraft Synthetic blend or Maxlife(syn blend too) every 5-6K or 6 months miles... My $.02

If you are gonna do that interval, might as well go with a conventional like PYB (Pennzoil yellow bottle) or even Motorcraft semi-synthetic. Can't beat price/quality on both

I agree with the others, for that short of change, save your money and buy MC syn/blend.

I went ahead and took your all's advice and used Motorcraft Synthetic Blend 5w20 and I am going to use it from now on.
