What do ya'll think about Mobile 1 full synthetic oil to use in our 5.0 engines . If not what brands are good to put in there?

 

You'll get alot of different opinions on this, which is fine. But I think oil changes are more important than which oil and to use. Any dirty oil will cause more damage than the cheapest clean oil.

On that note, I've used nothing but Mobil 1 in my motor for 8 years, but it's different 5.0 lol.

 

full synthetic oil is approved for use in all modern engines just use the weight that is recommended, the brand is a matter of preference. i use the motorcraft full synth because i have access to it at a substantial discount. but before that i used mobil 1 for a bit, and then actually switched to carquest brand full synthetic, it at that time was made for CQ by the producers of valvoline. all worked well with no issues
