RE: robbie gordon
Robbie has always been a favorite of mine. Is he the best in nascar probally not. Is the man a good race car driver you bet. anyone that can drive stock cars, indycars, offroad trucks and powerboats has to have some talent. He deserves more respect than he gets. maybe they ought to have a I.R.O.C event thats has one race each of the above series than we'll see who shows up

It's Robby, and he is the man.
If Childress wasn't swapping crew chiefs and always messing with Robby's team, they wouldn't be performing so horrible nearly 100% of the time.
If he could get into a car that was #1 priority with a multi-car owner/team, he'd win a few races..

That's what happens when you get hand me down equipment from Kevin Harvick.
It's well known that RCR isn't extremely well funded & has problems within the organization. He continually swaps crew chiefs, along with whole crews. Harvick said recently if Childress switches his team or crew chief again that he will leave and drive for someone else. Last season, Robby was running in the top 10 in points and guess what...Childress swapped his team to Harvicks since he was worse than 20th in points!!! This same thing happens at almost all multi-car teams. Penske for example, Ryan Newman & Rusty Wallace get brand new equipment, any part that survives a wreck is sold, not rebuilt and used again, whereas Brendan Gaughan's equipment are clipped chassis that Newman & Wallace no longer want & rebuilt parts. When Penske entered Travis Kvapil into a Cup race he was given all new equipment and several test dates with the brand new equipment & ran in the top 10 all race...
Just some examples...

robby is only good on road courses, his attitude sucks, he doesnt belong in nascar.
just my opinion. he could be more successful in a different series.
isnt he owner/driver of his new team for 05?

I think he is a great driver. He has a similar attitude as the great #3 did, except people hate him for it instead of loving him for it. Thae attitude I'm referring to is basically do whatever it takes to win.
He's not my favotite driver, or even close, but I respect him and think he is a good race car driver. I was also at the first race he ever one.
