its not just racing its who can bs the most without looking like a fool
they definitely have "set-ups" tho i remember some guy brought a car with no engine and instead of racing it (lolol) he gave it to other guy and he ended up racing some former high school buddy who had a grudge against him (he was in a black capri with a 16 year old driving)
alot of the cars are thrown together at the last minute and they really dont care who races and what they have.. as long as they give rich the slips they dont give a ****

My problem is, why don't they actually bracket race these cars. They are always at a dragstrip with timing equipment. Why not use it.

A'men, brotha. I hear more griping about guys getting a jump or a false start. Let em use the timing system for it; a lot less griping.

the show is dumb as hell...if they want to make it like street racing, it should be heads up, all the time.
and that civic versus firebird was fixed...they got the WORST import tuner ever to run a firebird...at the nopi finals last year, there wasnt a civic, even in NA class, that wasnt into the 10s.

the show is made to make imports look bad...
because most of the people who watch SPEED are rednecks who happened to have fallen asleep during the nascar recap, and when they wake up to seeing a firebird stomping an import, they can pound their coors light and hate on foreigners, like a proper redneck.
