Default HPDE insurance provider

I've got a non-binding quote from SnellingsWalters for about $1,200 for a year for my 07 GT. Does this sound high? I'm assuming it's normal. . . since nobody else seems to offer this kind of supplemental insurance anyways. I've already participated in the debate on what "normal" insurance does and doesn't cover and whether the "loophole" has been closed. I've decided to supplement what I have just in case I end up with a pile of metal and an outstanding $40k debt, if you know what I mean! I'm mostly interested in whether this sounds too high or if there are other supplemental insurance agencies out there OR a primary agency that covers Maryland that will include non-racing track days. Thanks!!!!

ProSure Motorsports Protection is the only source for expert HPDE insurance. I know those guys and they know HPDE and Club Racing more than anyone. You can find their info at www.prosure.net.

Give them a call, they are good people.
