Default FR500C in a 24 hrs race in Europe.

Zolder, BELGIUM.

My crazy friend decided to run his GT4 cup car for an endurance race...
This very car won last year GT4 season (with Eric De Donker), has already done half of this year season and now has completed an 24hrs race.
IT IS STILL THE SAME ENGINE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
5.0 CAMMER FTW!!!

Anyway, I had his second car (brand new) in my shop for a while, that is for endurance races only.
I shipped this thing 2 months ago.
For some reasons, they couldn't get it ready for the Zolder race so he used his Cup car instead.

They finished 17 with minor problems and a few spuns lol.
Pics...

Wow, thats cool. Thanks for the news Pascal. I checked out the price of that Cammer engine on the Ford Racing web site (http://www.fordracingparts.com/crateengine/sealed.asp). $29K, wow! For that kind of coin it better last.

Yes Sir!
Those cars have no strut tower braces nor rear sway bars and they win against the best European cars!! Also the only car in the business with solid rear axle lol.
Doesn't seem to be a handicap...

Xeno: No vids yet. I'll be checking for those.
The European love the Mustang, I witnessed that first hand at Francorchamps in August.

Anyway, couple of more pics... Last one is at Spa Francorchamps with De Donker, last year champ and his white Stand, then myself and my other buddy Raphael.
I'm trying to get them to race at the Rollex 24hrs at Daytona.
It would be cool. We'll see.

Cool Pascal, thanks for sharing. Does the 12 hr.s at Sebring have a class for these cars? That's right in your backyard.
