Nascar is alright to watch, but i hate all the restrictions they put in, like restrictor plates which don't allow as high of speeds, strict power restrictions, weight, etc......, and I hear there are many more to come.

I not only watch it but play it on the computer. Have a decent wheel and pedals and spend about 10 hours a week between practice for cup and gns in one league and trucks in a second league. I am sure alot of people on here think oh just a stupid game but it is fun and has some major people hooked as bad as I am http://www.jrsraceplace.com/pages/6/index.htm

most people that say they dont like nascar use the reason that "its boring watching 43 cars go around in circles" well i think its pretty damn amazing when they can go for 500 miles but on the last lap still be bangin doors for the win. man thats boring huh?? lol i have friends that hated it but once they started watching it with me and following some of the stories and drivers they started to like it, now there hooked, if you want to watch a true form of racing where the same ferrari doesnt win every week or the cars arent minutes apart then u better be watchin some nascar

Why? It keeps the competition close and the drivers much safer. You have everyone running nearly side by side b/c no one elses technology is any better than the rest.

i prefer road course racing, nascar is somewhat boring, i prefer hanging curves, man there is nothing better than on a sunday afternoon takin ur car for a drive on the curviest out in the boonies road with no cops and opening her up in the turns and getting a feel for your cars handling, I LOVE IT! Or F1 racing, now that is awesome!
