I'm lookin' at doin the PI swap on my 98 GT, in fact I just found out my stock intake manifold is cracked, so the schedule for the project is being bumped to ASAP. The 99 heads... how are they redone?
Looks like you had a 97 engine PI swapped and now you are puttin in a new motor. Did the PI swap that you did require a new timing cover?
Pretty interested in buying... where would you be shipping from?

Just making sure, but you do know that you need a special tool to get the fuel rail off...Im almost 100 percent sure 98 have the same as 97s...go to any local automotive store and get the tool to take off the fuel lines and you should be good to go...I bought the head from a guy who ran a bearing, i Didnt bother to get the head checked ou or anything and just put them on..well they were messed up and put a dink in my #4 piston...so I brought the heads down to a machine shope and had new valves in the passenger side put in and balanced the driver side. They were acid washed and resurfaced along with new valve seals. So I put everything back together , and a week later i see a mustang and i floor it, broke the tires loose and all and then i lose all power pretty much...blowing smoke out the ***....I thought i blew a head gasket...took it all back apart and saw that that little dink ...about the size of a eraser blew out...Heads are still good, i can take a picture if you want ...i have decided not to bother to put them on this motor because im going to save my old block and put forge in it...If you are doing the head swap , you will need a new timing cover and valve covers...I have everything you need except for the bolts and gaskets....John
