So I want to put some Borla mufflers on my 2004 GT. I don't have the cash to do the full cat back right now. Have any of you guys done just the mufflers? If so, what configureation did you get (offset in-center out, offset in-offset out)? I know the stock mufflers are offset in-offset out. Thanks for the input.

i think i remember seeing a post by some1 a while ago commenting that he had just the mufflers on the car and didnt like the sound at all compared to the full catback. so maybe just save your money. but that was just one person, and its hearsay. also i think that persons comment was about the stingers, not the regular borla mufflers.

There were weld-in mufflers on my GT when I got it in January. Didn't like the sound much and just waited til I could get the Magnaflow catted-X and Cat-back. Should be here next week, will let you know if it's any better.

Well if your gonna do alot of Mods on your car, I would go with the full catback...If your only gonna do minor mods I would just get mufflers......
