got my vortech installed, dynoed 412 to the wheels...oh boy!! raced my buddies firehawk and med him look like a 6 cyl!! i still need to work on tuning though, when i go through the gears from a dead stop its fast as hell, but when im cruising and jump on it it has a bad hesitation, like it wants to go but something is holding it back. here is my set up:
stock short block, gt40 x heads with 1.7 rollers, e303 cam, gt40 intake, 65mm tb, 76mm maf, 24lb injectors, msd, my question is this, should i be using bigger injectors with this combo cuz i kind of feel like when i jump on it from a roll its falls then picks up then falls and picks up, also when my buddie was behind me he said when i shift at high rpm im getting alot of smoke, is this normal?

 

What was your A/F on the dyno?

 

^^+1. And you probably could use bigger injectors.

 

+2 and u SHOULD use at least 42# injectors
