Nitrous and TCS
ok, so i have been having traction issues when using nitrous (duh - right?) anyway, until i resolve those issues with a good set of bald snow tires to replace these worthless hankooks, I was wondering if turning on the TCS would help me any. I know that it slows the motor down when traction is lost, but how does it do it? If it cuts gas to the engine like a rev limiter then ill just have to deal with no traction, but if there is something else at work then maybe i can improve my times some for the time beign with it on.
if your using nitrous + traction control, you can easily damage your engine... Think about it, your spraying nitrous into your engine, and then its going to cut fuel, hit the breaks, and w/e the hell else it does. never use it. And why are you buying bald snow tires lol.
the snow tire thing was just me being sarcastic about my worthess *** hankooks. i posted a thread earlier about how I broke them completely loose at 55 mph on a 75 shot (and a little double clutch action [:@])
but yeah, the fuel cut was my question. I wasnt sure if that is how it worked, i was hoping it was mechanical. oh well, ill think i may go with some BFGs....

lol yea.. Traction control is a pain in the a** anyway. But if your spraying and it starts cutting fuel, its not good. I don't spray untill 2nd gear. But even if i shift hard into 2nd, the tires break loose anyway. (this was before i got my nittos)
well hey, ive got a poll goin about which DRs to get. https://mustangforums.com/m_1265362/...tm.htm#1265362
the criteria for my tires are: Great grip but with an exceptable life span. I know nittos last longer than the other DRs out there (and I really like how they look). but alot of the guys are saying they dont grip as well. I was told the Mickey Thompsons grip the best, and that BFGs were the middle road. I think I may go BFG... but i think they may be too soft for the street. How are ur nittos working out?

the nittos are def. better than stock.. but obviously they arn't as grippy as MT or BFG's, but they were cheaper, and last longer, which is why i got them for my car because its my Daily driver
