well my nitrous should be here tomorrow well today 26th zex dry kit, comes with 10lb bottle, 75 100 & 125 hp jets, purge kit, and bottle opener. 550 on ebay i couldnt pass it up. i cant wait. i will have to get the motor back in the car first.

 

Thats awesome man. Whats interesting is that I can get a dry kit from a zex dealer for 505.95. I guess you have to pay shipping and et. Congrats on getting the nitrous!

 

P.S. Dont forget the pressure gauge, bottle warmer, etc. Zex makes a kit for all the accessories. They arent a must, but they help in keeping everything at right pressure for maximum horsepower gain.

im new to nitrous, do i need to change my spark plugs? also what should i set my timing? a right now its 14*, from what i heard somewere around 12*. also is ther anything else i neet to get or do befor i hit that switch?

When I had my ZEX dry kit I ran 13* with a 100 shot. That might be a little much for 92-93 octane beings i was running 100 mix. Pull about 1* for the 75 and 2* for the 100. The factory claims 2* per 50 horsepower and thats bullsh**!

Don't run nitrous w/out a bottle warmer and psi gauge. If your bottle pressure isn't atleast 900 psi don't even bother spraying it because you aint going to get the gains you want.

 

I forgot.
Run Autolite 24's if you don't plan on going over a 100 shot.
Run Autolite 23's if you want to go over 100 shot.
Gap them at 0.035
