Nitrous cost.??
I pay $3-$3.50 a pound... Looking into buying a large, 100 lb bottle though, approx $80, and selling the nitrous to others in the area for half that Port City Racing does... Profit! I'm in West Michigan.

At one time there was a company that sold brackets to mount a 100lb cylinder in a Mustang, it came up between the seats with the valve by the windshield. It looked rediculous.

yeah right. when you find it for that price let me know...i'll buy a thousand pounds of it.
i think you forgot the 1 in front of the 80.....it's about $2.75 / lb in a mother bottle. comes out to $178.75 + tax + deposit
then you need to get into your bottle. takes a hydrostatic pump to get 1000 psi

Edit: Well I personally didn't check, but had someone check for me, it's possible that I'm missing a 1... but either way, with the prices for the normal vendors around here, I can still sell the stuff from the huge bottle at 1/2 price and make money.
well post up if you do.
i'm in Michigan as well but detroit metro area
my buddy fills bottles and i know what his cost is. they usually make $1.00 / lb. which is a nice savings.
it seems to be going up every year , b4 i moved in 2000 it was $2.25 / lb from ramchargers
