what ignition module does one get to hook up to their window switch, that has the timing retard? what is the best set up for this?

if you have an msd (and you should..the stock spark will be weak and erratic at high rpm's) you can hook up a timing control. it's basically a **** that you dial your timing.

i just bump manually

msd 6a is fine.....6al is not really necessary cuz you can't override the stock limiter anyways.

I thought that the al was kind of unnecessary.

so u just get an adjustable timing retard, and that hooks right into the ignition box?

yup, i never wired one up, but it seems pretty simple.

i believe you zero your dizzy out, then dial it from the cockpit.

have u heard of a mallory IVA It seems to be a little better than the mallory VIA. better, the same, or worse than the msd 6a?
