I dont really have the money to do a whole turbo charge or super charge kit on my car so i was wondering what it would take to just get a nitrous boost. It may sound dumb but i dont really know a thing about them so any suggestions would be hlepfull.

 

there's a nice sticky here that has all the information you could need to know about it. you're going to be spending about $1000 to run nitrous safe. that's for a kit, safety kit and a chip with a nitrous tune. unless you don't even have that. then you can just get a basic dry kit with them safety boxes on them for $500 and run a lower shot.

about $500 for a brand new kit........$300 for a used one , and technically thats all you need

extra 100 hp at the touch of a switch.

expect 10-12 full 1/4 mile passes out of a bottle (10 lb'er)

and it'll be roughly $30-$40 to fill it.

you'll have 2-3 lbs of nitrous left when it becomes innefective, and it ranges from $3-$5 lb. depends where you live
